After many months of using my Tesla Coil and just imagining about what was going on there, I was eventually granted the possibility to perform some measurements on it. I was able to check:
Primary voltage was measured directly with a 10 kV probe while primary current was measured with a current transformer. As I could not measure the secondary voltage directly, I just used a simple unconnected scope probe at 180 cm from the Tesla Coil. All measurements were recorded by a 200 MS/s digital storage oscilloscope.
For a complete description of my measurement results, many scope snapshots and a lot of (probably partly wrong) explanations, download the complete measurement results (77 KB zipped Word file).
